offers comprehensive warranties designed to cover equipment, installation, and long-term
performance. While solar systems are built to last, unforeseen issues can occur. That’s
where our warranties step in, providing peace of mind and clarity.

Why Warranties Are Important

Think about it: panels, inverters, batteries they’re an investment. Significant. Even with careful installation, defects or unexpected malfunctions can occur. A warranty doesn’t make problems vanish, but it does give you a path to resolution. It’s meant to provide confidence that your system is supported if something goes sideways.

Types of Coverage

We break it down into three main categories:
Equipment Warranty: Protects hardware itself. This includes EG4 products, Canadian Solar panels, Enphase microinverters, and CHINT power systems.
Performance Warranty: Specific to Canadian Solar panels, addressing long-term energy output.
Installation Warranty: Covers mistakes during setup that might impact system performance.
Each has its purpose, though none is a silver bullet. Environmental factors, usage variations, and unforeseen incidents can still play a role.

Equipment Warranties

EG4 Products – GridBoss,
FlexBoss, Wallmount Batteries

EG4 systems carry a 10-year parts or full product replacement warranty for GridBoss, FlexBoss21, and Wallmount Batteries, provided they are registered or proof of purchase is supplied from an authorized distributor. The warranty is transferable if the equipment remains at the original installation location. Shipping within the continental U.S. is included. Exclusions: Installation/reinstallation damage, mishandling, environmental exposure, unauthorized repair or tampering, improper application, natural disasters (lightning, fire, flood, earthquake, riots, terrorism), altered or removed serial numbers, unauthorized firmware changes, voltage/current spikes due to open-loop battery communications, and products not purchased from EG4-approved vendors or moved from the original site.

Canadian Solar Panels

Canadian Solar panels carry a 25-year product warranty against defects in materials or workmanship, and a 25–30-year performance warranty depending on the module type. The performance warranty ensures that energy output remains above a specified threshold, though shading, dust, or slight wear may cause minor variations over time. Standard exclusions apply. CHINT Power Systems

CHINT Power Systems’ solar inverters carry a standard warranty of 10 years for 1000Vdc models and 5 years for 1500Vdc models, with optional extensions up to 15–20 years for select products. Enphase Microinverters

Enphase microinverters come with a 25-year warranty, covering defects in manufacturing and performance failures. Environmental or installation issues may affect longevity. Proper installation is crucial. More info: https://enphase.com/warranty/us

Elexity Systems

Elexity warranty terms are still being finalized. Coverage details will be provided to clients once installation is complete.

Growatt Battery Systems

Growatt batteries carry a 10-year limited product warranty covering material and manufacturing defects for both Residential and Commercial & Industrial applications. Coverage includes parts and replacement labor when installed by authorized partners. The warranty remains valid at the original installation site and requires product registration. LG Batteries

LG battery systems include a 10-year performance and materials warranty applicable to both Residential and Commercial & Industrial installations. This warranty ensures energy storage capacity remains above defined thresholds for the duration of coverage. Exclusions include environmental exposure, tampering, and improper installation by non-certified providers.

Installation Warranty

TX Solar & Batteries’ installation warranty covers errors made during setup, such as incorrect
wiring or missed connections. Misuse, tampering, environmental damage, or third-party
modifications are excluded. Standard installation warranty is included; duration varies by
project. Proper documentation is required to maintain coverage.

Performance Warranty

Canadian Solar panels’ performance warranty guarantees energy output over 25–30 years, depending on the module type. Minor variations from dust, shading, or wear may occur, but the warranty ensures the system meets expected standards.

Making a Claim

To submit a warranty claim, proper documentation is essential:
Proof of purchase and registration of your system or equipment.
Photos or other evidence showing the issue or defect.
For EG4 products, claims must be filed through the original authorized vendor direct submissions elsewhere may be rejected.
Follow any instructions provided for shipping or onsite assessment, depending on the product and issue.
Skipping steps or providing incomplete information can delay processing or result in a denied claim. Careful adherence to the guidelines, along with proper installation, ensures the claim is handled as smoothly as possible.

Coverage vs. Exclusions

● Covered: Product defects, electronics, BMS, microinverters, and
repairs/replacements per warranty terms.
● Not Covered: Acts of God, mishandling, tampering, voltage spikes, installation
errors, or products moved from the original site.
● Transferable: EG4 products once, if left in place; Canadian Solar and Enphase
generally follow the original site.

Warranties provide protection but they aren’t limitless.
